There are so many ways for you to be involved with different parts of our Sunday services and community activities!
Chancel Choir
Our volunteer choir ministers to our congregation every Sunday during the 11:00 AM service by leading them in worship. The Chancel Choir welcomes anyone who has a desire to join. Contact traditional music Director Lorali Reyna if you're interested in volunteering!
Handbell Choir
This group adds a special flare to worship during special services every few months. They enjoy sharing their music with the congregation and are always looking for new talent. Contact Anne Goodson (annegoodson@yahoo.com) for more information or to get involved!
The Well Band
Whether you enjoy singing or playing an instrument, the modern worship band is always looking for more participants to help lead praise through music on Sundays at the 9:45 AM service in The Well. If you're interested in getting more information, please contact modern worship Director, Jenna Wallace!
Worship Team
No previous experience is required as thorough training will be provided until YOU feel comfortable flying solo. All levels of availability are welcome (once a month, every other week, etc.) All three positions are Sunday-morning-only commitments:
Producer - Somebody who can manage a lot of moving parts, make quick decision, and doesn’t mind being a little bossy. This person doesn’t necessarily need to know how to do all the things (video, lights, streaming, etc.) They just need to have a handle on what’s happening during that Sunday’s worship and cue the appropriate person at the appropriate time (this information is provided).
Sound Manager for Live Stream - Somebody who likes having the authority to make executive decisions based on user feedback and his/her own good sense. Would watch live stream in real time but outside of the worship space; armed with a tablet computer to raise or lower volume of instruments, voices, etc. as needed to provide a quality experience for our online viewers.
Lighting Creator, aka Mood Maker - Somebody who enjoys flying under the radar while making a huge difference that people can’t quite put their finger on.
This person would use simple software to create lighting effects used during various elements of worship. Sermons, prayer time, songs can all be enhanced with proper lighting.
If you are interested in being involved in creating a special worship experience for our brothers and sisters in Christ, feel free to contact Jenna Wallace for more information.
Road Crew
On special occasions, Elizabeth Lee UMC holds worship services outside. They've been a big hit thus far and we'd like to keep them going. We need your help. We need a road crew of a few people to help move equipment, set up prior to worship services, and/or take down afterwards. No experience is needed, just a desire to help these worship services continue in the Chickamauga community.
To be put on our contact list for these events, please contact our church office M-TH from 9:00 - 2:00 PM at (706) 375-2182 or office@elumc.com.
Thank you for your willingness to serve!
